  I originally posted this panel a while back, on February 12th, when it was inked but not yet colored. Well, I finished it and put it up on my Etsy store (which, incidentally, has been undergoing some renovating recently) but totally forgot to blog about it.

  This weekend I should work on some tote bags. Been a while since I put any new designs up.

  For my second vegan dinner I had corn right out of the can and Tofurky breakfast links. They tasted quite decent, especially with some mustard, but the texture was off-putting. It felt so strange when I cut into them, because they looked so much like regular sausages, but they “felt” very different. I had a pang of longing for real sausages, but as soon as I remembered the photos of those poor abused piggies, my craving went away quickly!

  For dessert I am having a soy chocolate pudding, and now that is delicious.

  My mother is being more and more supportive, so things are going well.

  And so concludes my first all-vegan day! Hooray!

  Okay, I’ve eaten vegan cheese for the first time ever. It was a soy cheese flavored with lemon and oregano. I put just a wee bit of it in my mouth, and well…

  At first, I thought, “This is alright.” When I swallowed it, my opinion changed for the worse. I thought couldn’t eat another piece. Then I tried eating a bit on top of a soy chip. That was better. In the end, I ate quite a bit of it –with soy chips, of course. But I can’t really eat it by itself and enjoy it yet… I’ll just have to get used to it.

  This morning I had tea and dairy-free cookies for breakfast. At noon I had a fistful of dried veggies and a slab of dairy-free chocolate. That was all.

  It’s just past 3:00pm, and…

  …I’M HUNGRY!!!

  Wah… I wanna get home and have dinner… I usually don’t really have lunch and eat some fattening pastry at Starbucks instead, but now I can’t do this anymore or I really will starve! Starting next week I’m planning lunches for every work day!

  *stomach growls*

  Ah…
