Sunday was great. It’s not often that I have this perfect idea of what I want to do a certain day and that it turns out just as planned. Usually it doesn’t because by the next day I just don’t want to do that thing anymore. But yesterday was an exception.
I slept wonderfully and woke up early and well-rested from Saturday’s outing. Had a nice breakfast with my mom, and then set up my drawing supplies (both for my comic and a few Etsy items) on a little table in front of the TV. I drew and watched TV all afternoon. It was heaven!
I got a good part of a new page for the first chapter of Meganeea done, along with another wood panel for Sharpied Canvas. This one will be done in pencil–no inks or markers. I don’t know how it’ll turn out yet, as it’s not finished, but it sure is fun to work on.
I watched Surf’s Up (better than I expected) and The Wizard of Oz (I had never seen it before but was very familiar with it since the catalogs we get in the mail are full of memorabilia.) Later that night I also watched Guinevere. It was good.
I hope to finish the new page and panel today.
