Happy Easter, everyone!

This year I’ve tried my hand at dyeing Easter eggs. My first attempt looks clumsy, but in a cute way, I think. You can see the whole process here.

We had a nice Easter breakfast. Tea, freshly-baked Easter cookies, lots of candy and chocolate (well, we didn’t eat those yet) and of course, the eggs. The dye had made them rather sticky, but we had fun playing with them anyway, trying to break the tip and bottom of our eggs by tapping them hard against each other. My mother managed to break two of my eggs. Then I broke two of hers, and the egg I broke them with is still intact in the basket. :D So later today, when we play again, I’ll use that one. We ate our eggs with salt and butter.

Some of the cookies had a pink bunny face on them. These were sugar cookies and I have not tried them yet. The other “cookies” were actually brownie bites, and very yummy. My mom also ate some strawberry-milkshake flavored Robin Eggs.

If you want, you can see what our Easter breakfast table looked like, on my Flickr.

Well, we have plenty of candy to last a long time and cookies for this afternoon’s snack. I’ll probably take some candy to our landlord later, though I’m not sure he can eat it, since he had a surgery recently.

I am feeling well-rested and refreshed today, so I’ll go and get another page for my comic done. And I’ll watch the movies I rented.

Yup, it’s just another beautiful Sunday.

Happy Easter again, and may God bless you on this joyful day!
