Terrestrial Waters
Here’s a new image that I just added to my portfolio. It’s more concept art for my upcoming webcomic, Paleo.

This piece has a slightly different feel from my usual artwork. I have not colored the outlines, and the shadows and highlights on the characters are harsher than usual. Also, I used a halftone screen filter to give it an old-magazine feel, though you can only see this properly in the bigger version.
As you can see I’ve changed Minna’s character slightly. She now has a retractile photophore on her forehead, sort of like a viperfish. It curls up when she is not using it.
